Racing for Saturday May 9th

1st points race of the season.

The rain held off for this week in racing.  Rick has a mystirious right front caster pin failure in the Open Sprint B main and was unable to make the call.  However he had a screaming Limited sprint in the A main to finish 6th.  It would have been a better run if we didn't have to drop that new motor in after 1st round qualifing.

Kayo took 3rd in the Gas truck class.  This class if you can miss the wrecks you are in business. Kayo did his best in trying to avoid them but well you can't always be in the right place at the right time.  Top's to Kayo.

Yvonne made a large decision to move from the limited late model class to open.  It was exciting.  With being short powered to the Open motors with her TG motor she still managed to qualify only 3 laps short of TQ.  It was a good main, with a few drop outs she finished 2nd out of 5.  Yvonne looked more relaxed on the stand vs being in the limited class.  Next week we should have a fresh rebuilt TZ motor and we'll see what she can do then.
